UK public, non-profit and business archives can qualify as recognised custodians; a records creator must exceptionally partner with one. Substantial survival risk, insufficient existing funds, significance and UK-held records are required. One-stage application: a 400-word summary, four 300-word assessed answers and an Excel budget. No acquisition, overheads, management fees or pre-award costs. Cash match optional. Normally complete within a year of award. The current page links a preview labelled 2025; generic workbook wording does not change the £5,000 cap.
