Start with the information you have. These free worksheets help you organise costs, evidence and decisions before writing an application. You do not need an ArtsFunded account, and we do not ask for your email to download them.
These are independent preparation tools, not official funder forms. The 2026 edition describes when we prepared this set, not a new funding round. Use the current official application, rules and required attachments. None guarantees eligibility or an award.
ACE project budget planner
For project costs, cash income, support in kind and payment timing. Includes quantities, rate evidence, uncertain income and contingency.

Use the ACE budget guide and worked £11,250 example. The guide has a free arithmetic checker; the downloaded worksheet does not calculate totals.
Reaching Communities England planner
Connect community input with delivery decisions, outcomes, yearly costs and information needed at different stages.

Read the Reaching Communities budget and evidence guide for a three-year illustration. This is not an Awards for All worksheet: the programmes have different rules.
Heritage project preparation planner
Gather the heritage case, permissions, investment-principle responses, delivery costs and future-care arrangements before meeting partners or custodians.

Read the heritage funding guide. You must still use the official project-plan, risk-register and budget requirements for your grant band and stage.
Garfield Weston proposal planner
Set out the charity's work, purpose of the request and financial picture. Separate core, project and capital requests, confirmed funding and pending applications.

The Garfield Weston proposal guide explains why a balanced plan is not secured income. Check the current Regular or Major Grant guidance before using the planner.
How to use the files
- Save the text file on your device. Edit it in a text editor or paste it into Word or another document editor.
- For a paper copy, open the printable version and use your browser's Print menu, or choose Save as PDF. The blank webpage does not collect or save answers.
- Replace prompts with real information. Mark unknowns as unknown; do not invent a quote, commitment or outcome.
- Check calculations separately. These files are not spreadsheets and have no automatic formulas.
- Transfer relevant information into the current funder form and official attachments. Keep completed working copies private.
You may adapt these worksheets for your own application. If sharing an unchanged copy, keep the source and independent-tool notice so others can find the current guide. Avoid unnecessary sensitive participant information.
Need a check before you submit?
Use the free submission checklist. For a person to read your draft and budget, see what Matt's application review covers. Downloading a template does not book a service or incur a charge.
