The same funder is not automatically a conflict. The question is whether Matt can act independently, fairly and confidentially.
Checks
The client, funder, programme, deadline, partners and known competing duties are checked at onboarding and triage.
Safeguards
Separate workspaces, restricted access, timing or scope changes and informed consent may be used where genuinely suitable.
Unmanageable conflicts
Work is refused or ended where a conflict cannot be responsibly managed, with the agreed handover and refund rules applied.
