Less form-filling. More time making

You make the work.
ArtsFunded writes the first draft.

Four clear steps from rough project notes to an application you can check, improve and submit.

Not sure which funder fits?

1

Find the fund and add notes

Use the free matcher or pick a route, then answer guided questions in bullets or rough notes.

2

Preview, then generate the full draft

Check a free Project Summary first. Then get every funder answer written from scratch in about 10 minutes.

3

Research and review the case

Build a cited UK evidence report, then use the application reviewer to flag gaps and practical fixes.

4

Polish, export and submit

Meet every word limit, make final edits, export the draft and paste it into the official portal.

What you can do

Find, write, check and finish the bid.

Each job has its own tool, so you can use what you need without crowding the writing screen.

Find the right route

Describe the project once and compare the most relevant UK funds before you start writing.

  • Checks amount, location and legal fit
  • Explains why each route matches

Generate the full draft

Turn rough notes into complete answers that follow the funder's questions and keep your project detail.

  • Every application question answered
  • Funder tone, structure and limits built in

Review before submission

See what is convincing, what is missing and what needs a more specific answer.

  • Structured review across the whole bid
  • Clear changes you can make before submitting

Build the evidence

Add useful UK research without disappearing into tabs, reports and vague statistics.

  • Cited evidence tied to your project
  • Sources kept visible for checking

Hit every word limit

Condense long answers without losing the detail, tone or meaning that makes them useful.

  • Word and character limits supported
  • Edit and export when it reads right

Reuse the strong work

Improve a rejected bid or adapt one project for another suitable fund without starting again.

  • Rejection feedback turned into actions
  • New questionnaires pre-filled where useful

Meet the creator

Hi, I'm Matt.

I'm an artistic director and fundraiser who's spent years on both sides of grant applications. I've seen how much energy artists and organisations pour into forms, and how heavy the process can feel.

That's why I built ArtsFunded: to take the stress out of grant writing and give people their time back. Every feature has been shaped by real applications, real feedback, and real creative practice.

Your work is protected

Your ideas are not being scraped or fed into public AI models.

ArtsFunded uses funder guidance, public evidence sources, and a small set of consented example applications. We do not scrape artists' websites or public archives of bids, and your own project writing stays tied to your account.

Plain-English promise

You retain ownership of your inputs and generated outputs.
Your content is processed only to do the action you requested.
No artist's application is used as training data without explicit consent.

Got questions?

Frequently asked questions.

Do I really get a free preview? +
Yes. Everyone gets one free Project Summary preview inside the questionnaire. Read it first, then pay only if you want the full draft.
Is my data private? +
Yes. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest. Nothing you write is reused to train public models, and your drafts stay in your account until you delete them.
How do credits work? +
Credits live in your wallet. You see the cost before you click anything, and nothing deducts until the output is saved or exported. You also get one free Project Summary preview to check quality before spending a credit.
Where does the model's writing style come from? +
ArtsFunded is built only on first-party, permissioned data: Arts Council/funder guidance and a small set of example applications shared with explicit consent (including the founder's own work). We never scrape, ingest, or train on public archives or third-party collections. No artist's application is used without their knowledge or consent.
Which funders are covered? +
Live now: ACE Project Grants under £30k, ACE Project Grants £30k-£100k, ACE Supporting Grassroots Music, Arts Council of Wales Create & Engage across all five routes, DYCP, National Lottery Awards for All across all four UK nations, People's Postcode Lottery community funds, Creative Scotland, National Lottery Heritage Fund, PRS Foundation Open Fund for Music Creators, PRS Foundation Composers' Fund, Elephant Trust, D'Oyly Carte Charitable Trust, Fidelio Charitable Trust, and Theatres Trust Small Grants. Each live route has its own tailored questionnaire and prompt stack.
Do you support teams or org plans? +
Yes. Custom plans let teams share credits and scale drafts and research each month. Book a call to set this up.
